Private Health Insurance

It is highly recommended by Dr Ma that you are covered for Bariatric Surgery with your private health insurance. Please confirm with them if you are covered for either of these following item numbers –

31575 – Laparoscopic Sleeve Gastrectomy

31572 – Laparoscopic Gastric Bypass (mini or omega, Roux-en-Y)

Gold Coast Private Hospital or Pindara Private Hospital will not permit you to be admitted for Bariatric Surgery using your private health insurance unless you are covered for either one of the item numbers above.

No Private Health Insurance

Dr Ma welcomes uninsured patients and is proud to offer one of the most affordable options for patients without private health insurance whilst maintaining high quality lifetime aftercare and support.
