ENDOSCOPIC BARIATRIC SURGERY

It is possible for bariatric surgery to be performed by endoscopy, i.e., via a tube passed down the oesophagus from the mouth, rather than by an incision in the abdomen. However, this is always dependent on a patient’s individual circumstances.
